MEI kündigt Investitionen in Größenreduzierungskapazitäten für die ganzjährige Verarbeitung hydroskopischer Materialien an.

Wapakoneta, Ohio, 24. August 2018: MEI ist stolz, die Erweiterung seiner Kapazitäten zur Größenreduzierung von Nylon-6-Materialien bekannt zu geben. Eine Investition in eine hochmoderne klimatisierte Anlage ermöglicht es MEI, Nylon-6-Materialien von 20 bis 35 Maschen für die Rotationsformindustrie und feinere Größen (60 Maschen) für andere Märkte herzustellen. Diese Erweiterung der Verarbeitungskapazitäten ermöglicht es MEI, die Menge an Feuchtigkeit zu kontrollieren, die hygroskopisch empfindlichen Materialien während der Mahl- und Verpackungsphase zugeführt wird. Der Feuchtigkeitsgehalt der fertigen Produkte wird auf 0,5 bis 1,5 % angestrebt.
